> **In short:** The dashboard is the Innovanet start page that gathers important data from the modules into widgets that each user customises. It comes with company news, company pages made of sections and a notice on the home page that an administrator shows.

The dashboard is the start page that gathers the most important things from the other modules into clear widgets.
Company news and internal pages give employees information where they work every day, instead of in e-mails and on shared drives.

Key features:

- **Customisable dashboard**: Each user chooses widgets, changes their order and width and can return to the default layout at any time.
- **Company news**: Authorised users post articles and announcements and colleagues comment on them.
- **Company pages**: Work rules, contacts, health and safety or onboarding become your own pages made of sections, with comments below the page.
- **Pages in the side menu**: Selected pages appear directly in the application's side panel and their title can be in several languages.
- **Notice on the home page**: An administrator shows everyone a short notice, for example about planned maintenance, as information, good news or an important warning.
- **Who is at work**: A widget shows which colleagues are working today and who is away.
- **Tasks, events and finances**: The dashboard also shows your tasks, upcoming events from the company calendar and, depending on permissions, financial statistics.

## What is on the dashboard?

Widgets with attendance, tasks, news, upcoming events, service desk requests and financial statistics. The available widgets depend on the activated modules and on your permissions.

## Can the dashboard be customised?

Yes. Each user chooses widgets, changes their order and width and can return to the default layout.

## Can I create my own internal pages?

Yes. You build company pages from sections with a heading and text, colleagues can comment on them and selected pages appear in the side menu.

## How do I announce something important to everyone?

An administrator sets a notice on the home page that appears at the top of the dashboard as information, good news or an important warning. Authorised users post company news.

## Can the AI assistant work with the dashboard and news?

No. The dashboard, news and company pages are not among the modules the AI assistant can reach through MCP.
