> **In short:** The Mail and parcels module records incoming and outgoing letters and parcels with the carrier, tracking number, subject, date and status. You filter the list by scope, year, type and status, add comments and attachments to an item and link it to a project and to a business partner.

You keep incoming and outgoing items in one place, with the carrier, tracking number, subject, date and status.
You link an item to a project and also find it in the business partner's detail.

Key features:

- **Incoming and outgoing items**: Record letters and parcels with the carrier, tracking number, subject, date and status.
- **Overview with filters**: You search and filter the list by scope (all, for my information, my mail), year, type and status.
- **Comments and attachments**: You add comments and attachments to an item.
- **Item history**: The detail shows all the data of the item and its history.
- **For my information**: You can mark an item as “for my information” and find it in a separate filter.
- **Links to partners and projects**: An item is tied to a project and also appears on the Mail tab in the business partner's detail.

Yes. You can import items from a file and export the list of items.

## Can the AI assistant work with mail?

Yes, read-only. Through MCP the assistant finds items by text, year, partner or project and shows the detail of an item with its history and list of attachments.
